Disney’s Strange World is reportedly facing a $100 million plus loss. My question is “Why does it take that much to produce a film?” She Said only cost $30 million. It is an excellent film but not doing well at the U.S. box office. It might break even when it hits the European markets.
Brian Tyree Henry is moving to the head of the crowd for possible Best Supporting Actor awards for his performance in Causeway. While cinematographer Florian Hoffmeister –Tar-won the prestigious Golden Frog at the Camerimage cinematography festival. This award is often a harbinger of the Oscar winner. Everything Everywhere All at Once was the big winner at the 2022 Gotham Awards, taking the best feature prize.
