Return From Sick Bay

Finally able to fight through medical problems , get out of the bed and see a couple of films this weekend. One was a 2019 thriller “The Wolf’s Call” now streaming on Netflix (4k) Prime, Vudu and Apple. Then I actually made it back to a theater to see the 2022 release of “Joyland”. Both were excellent films. See my next two posts as I cover each individually. It felt good to get back. I plan continue the gradual return and follow up with a couple this coming weekend.

I have submitted my proposed Fall class to The Newberry Library. It would be available to all on Zoom. The library indicated they will send out acceptances in June. So here’s hoping.

If any of you have seen a new release and would care to share your thoughts they would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Dear Bob,

Sorry to learn you’ve been ill; however I look forward to your program with Newberry Library.

    Best always,
    Marilyn

  2. Yes, I saw Three Thousand Years of Longing and thought it was quite an impressive movie, a fine adventure. I also was just able to catch Narcosis yesterday, yikes dreadfully sad but beautifully acted and presented.
