Since I am taking a leave from OLLI and have no classes to prepare and teach I have decided to resume my blog. The posts will be slightly different this time.
★ There will be no reviews by me. The content will focus on filmmaking and trade news.
★ I will try to expand on the chapters in the book to give you further insight and provide links to examples.
★ In addition I will have links to feature articles and interviews from the leading film magazines.
★ A new page is being added with video links to trailers for upcoming films.
★ So that you get a rough idea of what to expect at awards time the blog will follow the end of year film festivals and report on the audience reactions to films. At the beginning of the year I will post a calendar of the various award events and indicate if the event is being televised. The winners of each will be posted the day after the ceremony.
In order for the blog to be successful it is important that YOU share your ideas and comments to a post.
Once you start receiving notices of posts (in a few days) please tell your friends about the site and urge them to sign up for their own notifications. Do not hesitate to let me know if you would like to see some other type of information added to the site.
