The news columns are full of reports of starts, business leaders and others leaving Twitter n ow that Elon Musk has taken over. Some progressives, however, are urging people to “stay and fight”. One possible move by Musk appears to be a dealbreaker for those hanging on for the time being. They are reacting to an unconfirmed report that Musk may begin charging $20 per month to users who want to keep their verified (blue checkmark) accounts.
On a personal level, Vibes From The Screen is staying off of Twitter until things become clearer.
