Most of the movie news these days is about the many ( and I mean many) Awards presentations. So far there has been absolutely no consistency in the top awards (Best Film, Actor, Actress). I do not believe that the Golden Globes really foretold what is to come when the major ceremonies occur. The Spirit Independent Awards have already announced their nominations as has the Directors Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. The BAFTA nominations will be announced on the 19th and Oscar nominations on the 24th
