Spent the day visiting Mesa Verde Nat’l Park. Returned to Telluride to find the 32 film announced festival lineup. Amy Adams is being honored with a showing of Arrival. Missing is her other new film, Nocturnal Animals, which received positive response a the Venice Film Festival Thursday.
In a similar vein one of my favorite actors, Isabelle Huppert, is featured in Things to Come, which will also be seen at CIFF. Unfortunately the critically acclaimed, Elle, didn’t make it to Telluride.
Among those that I am looking forward to seeing are: Manchester by the Sea; Graduation; Maudie starring Sally Hawkins; Lost in Paris; Wakefield and Frantz.
Vibes from the Screen enjoyed good sales at Between the Covers bookstore.
